Illustrator: Vincent Fane Handley. 800 g; XX, 124 pages, with 47 black-and-white plates, some 2 to the page as well as 6 in text figures and for diagrams as well as a couple of line drawing illustrations. Bound in blue cloth, which appears to be water damaged on the front panel, and is rubbed at the top and bottom of the spine, trace of foxing to the front and top edges of the text block, foxing to the false free end page and the half title page, with only very mild foxing throughout the book. "Horseman can be divided into 3 categories: 1st: "regular" officers and non-commissioned offices of the mounted arms in active service or of the reserve. 2nd: civilians who have done compulsory military service in the mounted arms. 3rd: civilians with no military service to their credit. -- From the introduction page XVII Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
