This Book is the History of the United States by John Clark Ridpath, a prolific history author. This Book is entitled Ridpath's History of the United States, 20th Century Edition. The Book begins with the exploration of America by Norsemen, Spaniards and English and culminates with the the election of William McKinley as President in 1896. The last photograph of the Book is of President McKinley and his cabinet. This Book is comprehensive and one of the best American histories of its time. This Book contains four volumes in one book, 570 pages and over 250 illustrations and photographs. There are two author signatures in the frontispiece that are facsimile copies. This Book is very readable in its overall condition.
