Wodehouse (1881 - 1975), whose serialized, merry espisodes of the twosome first appeared in 1915; this work is a sequel to "Thank You, Jeeves". Chiefly set at Brinkley Court, home of Bertie's Aunt Dahlia, the story introduces the recurring characters Gussie Fink-Nottle and Madeline Bassett; also present are Bertie's chum Tuppy Glossop, cousin Angela Travers, and Brinkley Court's prized chef, Anatole. A tale of rebellion in which Bertie, annoyed all his friends consider Jeeves more intelligent than he, decides to takes on Gussie's problems himself and orders Jeeves to refrain from offering any advice. Chaos descends, and Bertie is obliged to seek Jeeves for help --- Jeeves arranges for Bertie's absence for a few hours, and all is well. "Jeeves" --- given name Reginald --- is a formal entry in the Oxford Dictionary to describe the quintessential nature of a valet; a valet being one responsible for serving an individual, while butlers are called upon to manage entire households including all other servants. Among multiple literary awards. Wodehouse received the 1936 Mark Twain Prize for "having made an outstanding and lasting contribution to the happiness of the world".

Sinopsis

Right Ho, Jeeves is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse, the second full-length novel featuring the popular characters Jeeves and Bertie Wooster, after Thank You, Jeeves. It also features a host of other recurring Wodehouse characters, and is mostly set at Brinkley Court, the home of Bertie's Aunt Dahlia.
