Sobre este artículo

New York:: Houghton Mifflin,, 1989.. First Printing of the First Edition.. A Near Fine copy in a Very Good plus, unclipped dust jacket that has some edge wear to the spine. The author describes the origins, the impact, and the aftermath of the Great War of 1914-1918, the most traumatic event of the 20th Century and one that would forever change the arts and the social fabric of generations to follow. He goes into great detail to describe this tumultuous period is not only one of death and destruction but also of "becoming." The Western world was on the brink of catastrophic change when the war broke out and it would never be the same afterward. The so-called Modern Age began following the First World War in 1918 and ended with the death of Adolf Hitler at the end of the Second.
