A lovely first impression of this novel concerning responsibility by Charles Morgan, complete with its unclipped dust wrapper. The first edition, first impression of this novel concerning the heavy responsibility of five men of the French underground, who find out they have to die in order to save the other members. A gripping story of peace and violence, duty and personal feelings by Charles Morgan. Complete with its unclipped dust wrapper. Charles Morgan was a British playwright and novelist, known for often exploring the themes of art, love, and death in his novels, and their relations to one another.  In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear. The dust wrapper is excellent and unclipped, with minor shelf wear and a minor chipping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Fine
