Sobre este artículo

Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.: William Morrow & Co, 1991. First edition thus, a facsimile edition of the scarce 1909 edition with the pastel-coloured pages. The dust jacket is a light pink colour and has a minute 1/8" closed tear at the top of the spine panel and a light scratch breaking the paper surface at the bottom of the spine panel. the spine has the printing in large blue horizontal type "The Road To Oz" with no devices of illustrations on it. The front jacket cover has a pictorial label of illustration of Dorothy, the Tin Man, Coawardly Lion and Scarecrow on it. The book itself is green, hardback, has the "The Road To Oz" title with the mule and Emerald City in the background as well as Ozma and Dorothy face to face on the rear boards. Illustrated endpapers and pastel coloured pages. The top page edges are in gold (gilt)- making this book very attractive. The jacket is not price-clipped and comes in a Mylar jacket protector. There are also colored headbands at either end of the bound in pages, a nice touch. An unread, crisp copy with the number sequence starting at "1" - Nice rendition. Not available in stores now..
