Sobre este artículo

Text is clean and unmarked in a square and tight binding. The front and back of the binding both have a faded spot. The previous owner's name is on the inside of the front bindng. The price unclipped DJ is intact with small closed tears and small chips at the top and bottom DJ spine. DJ spine is faded. From the front DJ flap, "Who were the robber barons? They were: Jay Cooke, J. Pierpont Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, Commodore Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, Jim Fisk, Jr., Jay Gould, Collis Huntington, Jim Hill, Edward Harriman, Henry Frick, Leland Stanford and some others. These were the men who seized power in America after the Civil War. For private gain, they 'built up the country,' developed railroads, usurped natural resources, created huge productive forces, conquered political institutions, turned the social philosophy into a 'dollar' philosophy. They did great things; they were giants in their creative energy and force."

Sinopsis

Rockefeller, Morgan, Vanderbilt, Carnegie, Harriman, Gould, Frick...this is the story of the giant american capitalists who seized economic power after the Civil War and altered the shape of american life forever. Index.
