Paris: P.-V. Stock, Editeur, 1902. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. POS on inside front cover with no other markings. Originally paperback rebound in marbled maroon hardcover with canvass spine strip; on the strip is a 3 inch prewar precursor to masking tape with handwritten title and author used to identify book from the spine on the shelf. Book is well read but solid, board edges rubbed through, binding cracks at front pastedown have not adversely affected book's integrity. Despite the age and the climate, only a hint of yellowing overall and foxing only on endpapers. This play premiered on March 15, 1900. This copy is the 8th edition.
