UK: Collins, 1947. Bound in the publishers finely woven green cloth hard covers with silver title lettering to spine and front board. The 256 pages remain in very good, clean condition with two discreet ownership inscriptions to front end papers. Three charming black and white illustrations by Margaret Horder one of which is the frontispiece. Book sits square and solid. Housed in a later Collins Standard Series Dustwrapper which is in a fragile state with chipping and tears but is still largely intact. Placed in a plastic archival sleeve to preseve its condition. The photograph supplied is a picture of the book and dustwrapper and we are happy to send more images on request.. First Edition. Very Good/Good. Illus. by Margaret Horder. FIRST EDITION.
