Signed by Willcox on the certification page. Quarter leather. Brown boards with gilt decoration and bordering. The boards are sound, handsome, neat. The leathered spine is comfortable. It has some light wear and scuffing. The gilt of the titling has worn away. Otherwise, the spine and leather are sure and pleasing. The contents are mild-mannered. There are blotches of foxing here and there throughout. Nonetheless, the pages and illustrations are congenial, hale, confident, generous, clear, clean, agreeable. fk.
