Cream boards in a cream cloth binding, blue spine titles, and an embossed HHH to the cover. 1st printing in dustjacket. A very good copy with bending at the spine tips, minor bumping at the upper corners, and a bit of dusting along the textblock edges. Interior is clean and tight as if unread. The unclipped dustjacket is also very good - bright and attractive, with minimal shelfwear at the panel edges. 368 pp., the basis for the film October Sky.
Sinopsis
Rocket Boys (also known as October Sky) is the first memoir in a series of three, by Homer Hickam, Jr. It is a story of growing up in a mining town, and a boy's pursuit of amateur rocketry in a pure company mining town. It won the W.D. Weatherford Award in 1998, the year of its release. Today, it is one of the most often picked community/library reads in the United States. It is also studied in many school systems around the world.
