This small, very handsome volume has a full black calf leather binding with lovely gilt block-and-vine-leaf tooling on front and back boards and across the entire length of the spine above and below embossed bands. Title in gilt lettering on the spine, and pages brightly gilt-edged. Full hand-combed-marbling on end pages, still bright and beautiful. Besides end-board marbling, the leather binding and decorative gilt tooling also wrap the inside and appear on the edges. In-text engraved illustrations appear throughout. Minimal scuffing on corners and along bottom edges. A beautiful and highly collectible copy.

Any request for return of an item should be made to the seller within 3 days of receipt of the item, with the reason for return clearly stated. Ideally, we seek to have all items returned to us in original condition or, if they were damaged in first shipping, returned without further damage. The buyer, therefore, will need to pack the returned items carefully to avoid shipping damage, which may affect the refund, and to pay the return fees. The return fees will be refunded if the item was repacked properly. If the item is being returned because it was damaged in the original shipping, we ask the buyer to email photographic documentation of the damage immediately upon receipt of the item. If the item is being returned because it is not what was ordered, then the refund will be full and immediate--provided the item is returned in packaging adequate to protect it from damage. Notification of the intent to return an item, and the reasons, can be directed to mediumtorarebooks@mail.com.
