Sinopsis

After years living in the new world of Canada, Simon St. Bride is ready to return to aristocratic life in England. But his plans are delayed by a duel and a young woman he feels honor-bound to marry, knowing that his family is unlikely to welcome her. For despite her beauty and seeming innocence, Jane Otterburn is hesitant to speak of her enigmatic past... Then treachery strikes their world, and, as Simon and Jane must fight side-by-side against enemies and fate, on land and at sea, he discovers a wife beyond price and a passion beyond measure. But will the truth about Jane tear their love asunder?

Reseñas

El Feb 3 2007, BeverlyRomance dijo:
Jo Beverley once again shows her great storytelling ability and pleases her fans by returning to The Rogues Series to tell Simon St. Bride's story. The love between Simon and Jancy is so sweet and seductive; you can't get enough of them! It is great to have glimpses of Hal Beaumont and Lord Darius (Dare), but if there is one disappointment it is in not having The Rogues reunite to help these characters out. Taking the series to Canada was very interesting, but the story seemed to go flat, or too fast, once returning to England. I was so hoping to have the head Rogue, Nicholas Delaney and the Roguettes (wives of The Rogues) work to clear Jancy's troubled past and those plaguing her, as in the other books of this series. A totally enjoyable read, but one that makes you wish there was more.

Sobre World of Books Ltd

In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands:
- Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused.
- Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media.
- Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we're helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.
