Eric Robert Russell Linklater (8 March 1899 - 7 November 1974) was a British writer, known for more than 20 novels, as well as short stories, travel writing and autobiography, and military history. Eric Linklater has never been content to repeat himself, and here, in 'Roll of Honour'. he has discovered a new sort of narrative which invites immediate attention and compels instant belief in all he tells. In the original publisher's cloth binding, with the original dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Very minor bumping to the extremities. Some light rubbing and spotting and a small closed tear to the tail of the spine of the dustwrapper. A couple of light spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
