Novara, Italy: Istituto Geografico de Agostini, 1932. Paperback. 1 map (folded), wraps. 9 x 5.5 in. (folds out to 34.75 x 31.25 in.). The map is captioned "Pianta di Roma." Illustration of classical ruins on front cover. Logo of ENIT, the Italian Government Tourism Board, on rear wrapper. Ink stamp on front cover and on rear of map: "James Fugazi, Bulotti & Co., General Steamship Agents, 57 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, Calif." Ink stamp on rear cover: "Italian Tourist Information Office, 604 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, Calif. (Italian Chamber of Commerce)." Map has a couple of splits at the edge of the map and at intersecting folds; the paper is brittle; otherwise, a clean and bright copy. Large color map of the city of Rome by the Geographical Institute of Agostini, with major landmarks such as the Coliseum and Vatican City. Produced by Italy's state tourism board, with this copy once owned by a travel agent and the Italian Chamber of Commerce. The map is dated: "Edizione 1932 - X [i.e. year ten of the Fascist government].".
