A really stunning book w/ 59 large, tipped-in color plates of ancient Roman sites on the African Continent. Gorgeous photos of architectural sites, emphasizing magnificent scenery. Informative text by a leading historian of the region. Book is like new except for very slight sunning of edges of cover, a couple of small chalk-like marks along the bottom of the font cover, somewhat yellowed pages due to exposure to sunlight, and slight soiling of the outer page edges that does not penetrate the pages.
