Portrait of author to title page, two one-page maps, one fold-out map, 18pp table at end of text, and errata sheet are all present. Frontispiece absent; page 89 has been reattached; pages 99-100 absent but provided in facsimile. Title page contains a scratched-out previous owners' name done in ink, as well as some light doodles also in ink (see image). Wear to hinges, particularly the front hinge; dent to rear board (see image).
