Sobre este artículo
London, United Kingdom: Secker & Warburg, 1989 230pp. FIRST UK EDITION of Higgins' collection of travel essays. Original dustjacket not price clipped; with age and shelf wear around the edges also has a very small indentation to the front near the spine. Book pages have yellowing around edges (Secker used inferior paper which has not fared well with age). Text pages clean with no internal markings. Ronda Gorge is a collection of Higgins' travel writing over 23 years which are based on his travel diaries and assorted memoirs piecing together the very best. Aidan Higgins is considered one of modern Ireland's greatest writers. His first experimental novel "Langrishe, Go Down" was awarded the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for fiction in 1966. Ronda Gorge is now out of print.
