First edition of this exhibition catalog for the first show at the Long Island City contemporary art space now known as MoMA PS1. Perfect- bound in wraps; 10.5 x 10 in.; 127pp. Near fine condition, with two white surface abrasions to the front cover, and some quite minor rippling to the front fore-edge. Black-and-white photographs of the site-specific works, with notes and comments by the seventy-eight artists at rear.With a brief statement by curator and P.S. 1 executive director Alanna Heiss at front, and another at rear by program director Linda Blumberg. Artists represented include Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Jennifer Bartlett, Peter Downsbrough, Suzanne Harris, Joseph Kosuth, Gordon Matta-Clark, Bruce Nauman, Nam June Paik, Judith Shea, Susan Weil, and others. A nice copy.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
