New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1957. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Illustrated by Maud and Miska Petersham. Later Printing. Inscribed by Sandburg on the front endpaper to his friends Len and Olga Steckler. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($3.25), toned at the spine and edges, tape at the head of the spine, a chip at the top of the front panel. Red buckram, rubbed at the edges, with black ink lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. An omnibus edition of Sandburg's Rootabaga Stories with their original illustrations by the Petershams. In his inscription, Sandburg references the inscribees' similarity to "The White Horse Girl and the Blue Wind Boy.
