Rose a Charlitte, the heroine, is a descendent of an old Acadien family. The reader will follow her fortunes. A list of illustrations provided. All illustrations on heavier semi-gloss stock firmly attached, all present, all in excellent condition. H. De Young... illustrator. Gift inscription and light soiling to ffep. Previous owner's name written at the extreme top of three separate leaves. Well decorated front board and spine. Gilt title print and gilt decorations remain bright. Fray to heel of spine.
