Sobre este artículo

New York: Grove Press, [BCE], 1967. First Printing of First Book Club Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good-. 126 pp. 21 cm. Hardcover. Publisher's original black quarter-cloth and blue paper over boards, gilt lettering to spine. Book Condition: gilt lettering to spine is dulled, spine ends gently pushed, else fine. The green top-stain is fresh and unfaded, with a tight looking head band. Dust Jacket Condition: front panel has a large chip to the top edge, extremities show general wear, spine ends and tips, toned mostly to the rear panel; front flap clipped top and bottom. Some time the book clubs do their thing in a totally separate space, according to their book clubish standards, and then some times it's like they're printed at the same press, same top stain to the top edge, same head band, Grove Press on the dust jacket spine, indistinguishable copyright page, title page, same greet portrait on the back of the jacket. Until your ship comes in and you can spring for the real thing, this looks pretty sweet holding a place on your shelf. This book is stamped "Robert E Weil", who we believe is the well known actor, and writer Robert Weil (Nov. 18, 1914-March 1, 2002), known for roles in Moonstruck, The Hudsucker Proxy, Broadway Danny Rose, and many theatre roles.

Sinopsis

"A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself. Or just as mad. . .Stark raving sane." Rosencrantz and Guildestern, the two friends of Hamlet, spend this entire book playing games, toying about with philosophical points that they can't quite grasp, and desperately attempt to figure out what in the world is going on around them in this terribly amusing and dark play.
