Sobre este artículo
The Detective Book Club produced volumes of three crime novels from 1942 to 1999. Originally monthly, near the end they dwindled down to just a few per year. Many famous detective and crime novelists had their early works featured in DBC editions. Often, books were published in DBC editions before, or at the same time as they were published in mass market form. A little about our authors:
Bill James: Bill James is another prolific writer with at least 68 published novels. He is known mainly for the 35-volume Harpur and Isles series. James has created seven other short series of two to four books and has 18 stand alone novels. This is the tenth Harpur and Iles novel.
Michael Dibdin: A British writer of mysteries, Dibdin produced a total of nineteen novels, eleven in the Aurelio Zen series. Dibdin's writing career spanned four decades, from 1978 until his death in 2007. This is the fifth Aurelio Zen novel.
L. L. Thrasher: A resident of Portland, OR, Thrasher published four mysteries between 1991 and 2001. Twelve years later, she published as an e-book a collection of six short stories. This is the second of two Zachariah Smith Mysteries.
