Sobre este artículo
New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1879. Codman took a "new iron screw steamship" of the Pacific Mail Service from New York to Panama, then traveled by train across the isthmus and coastal packet up to San Francisco. From here he ventures north & south, then east across the country, making side trips along the way including to the Mormon town of Salt Lake City. He prefers to comment on the little-commented-upon: therefore there is little on the bigger cities and nothing on Yosemite. First edition, Hardcover, full brown cloth, gilt & black titling & route map. Light wear, minor spotting, small bubbles on front cover; name & date on flyleaf; edges & first couple of leaves front & back foxed, interior clean. Text clean; xiii, blank, 331 pages, blank, 4 pages publisher's ads.. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 5¾" by 7¾".
