Sobre este artículo

London: Smith, Elder & Co, 1863. 1st. hardback. Very Good, 1st Edition, original blindstamped navy cloth, lettered and decorated in gilt on spine; pale green endpapers. Minimal scuffing, spine very faintly sunned; text block good, untrimmed pages unmarked and clean, save occasional foxing; a few pages a little loose but still attached.. 12mo (190 x 130 / 7_"" x 5""). Three years before he died, Thackeray took on the editorship of The Cornhill Magazine in 1860, despite far prefering the job of writing pieces for his 'Roundabout Papers' column. These were published in this anthology soon after his death in 1863. This is the 1st edition, with occasional illustrations by Thackeray himself.
