Sobre este artículo
This is an antique book on travels and adventures, "Rovings on Land and Sea" by Captain Henry E. Davenport. 1880; Estes and Lauriat; Boston. Illustrated. Here are some examples of the contents: The Rock of Gibraltar; Notes of a Journey Across the Isthmus of Panama; Australia and Van Diemen's Land; The Esquimaux Village; Fowling in Faroe and Shetland; A Fuqueer's Curse; The Deserts of Africa; Life in an Indiaman...and more.
Condition:
There are a few light stains on the front cover. The cloth on the spine has faded just a bit. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. There is a bit of tearing to the paper along the hinge between the front end paper and pastedown. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean with only some occasional foxing (heaviest on the title and contents pages, and on the last few pages). Previous owner's bookplate affixed to the front end paper. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.
