Black cloth boards with gold lettering on spine. 254 pp. with color and bw illustrations. no dustjacket. The book catalogues Lichtenstein's production in the graphic medium from 1961 through 1969. Almost all of his large drawings are reproduced in b/w, and a selection of the small, preliminary studies for his paintings are here in both color and b/w. A critical introduction by Diane Waldman explores Lichtenstein's imagery and technique and the place of his drawings and prints in his total oeuvre.
