Royal Marines conquer another Antarctic Peak. Pictures just received from the Royal Navy's Ice Patrol Ship H.M.S. Protector, taken during the successful climb to the top of the hitherto unscaled 9,000 feet Mount Gaudry, highest mountain on Adelaide Island inside the Antarctic Circle... made the final ten hour ascent in a night assault cutting steps and hand holds in a steep ice face...
