New York: Thomas Y. Crowell and Co., 1909. This book is stunning!!! Beyond stunning. Brown cover with lighter brown calligraphic lettering. Teal and many shades of brown eastern floral design. Gold gilt lettering on spine. Very worn around the edges but still so, so lovely. Endpapers have an intricate teal, purple and pink border and inset design. Deckled edges. Extremely clean with numerous watercolour plates that are loosely attached along the top edge. Calligraphic writing throughout. What a special gift this would make: for yourself or for others.
