Sobre este artículo

New York: The Rudder Publishing Company, 1902. 1st. Hardcover. 4to. 568pp. Index. Color frontispiece; photo-illustrations; diagrams; plans. Later turquoise cloth with gilt lettering. A near fine copy (minor wear; slight dampstain to lower corner of frontispiece not affecting the image). Founded by Day in 1890, The Rudder magazine was a chronicle of modern recreational sailing as we know it today. The magazine became an icon of yachting that continued to be published until the mid-1980s, but its most influential years were those under the editorship of Day, whose audacious style and infectious enthusiasm inspired generations of sailors.
