Sobre este artículo
Hardback. Good. Faber & Faber, London, 1942, first edition; 8vo, pp 84; original green cloth, spine gilt; some water staining along the foot of the whole volume, generally not ordinarily noticeable but directly affecting the first and last two leaves and the end papers through the leaking in of some scattered pink colouring and with some similar but milder effect on both boards. Ownership inscription on the front ep, Dennis Sykes, May 1942. Pinned to the second front ep is a photograph of Natasha Letvin, Spender's second wife, at the Dartington Festival, clipped from Picture Post, June 1943, and also a 3pp holograph rendering of Spender's 1928 poem, "The Truly Great", annotated "S. Spender" at the foot.
