Sobre este artículo

Willimantic, CT: Curbstone Books, 1996. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Stated First Edition, no other printings noted. Hard cover in very good condition with deep yellow boards, green spine cloth, and gold gilt spine lettering. Interior text block clean & tight; no writing. At top of front free end papers is the shadow of a smudge, as if a penciled name had been erased; no other markings noted. A small volume: 5 1/4"" wide x 7 1/2"" tall; 214 numbered pages. Dust-dulled top text block & all text block edges show some light foxing. Dust jacket good with shelf & edge wear, closed tear at top of back panel; small chip at bottom back panel; edge wear to head & heel of spine and top front panel. Not price clipped, however what appears to have been price is blacked out. * From a review by Maxine Hong Kingston on the front flap, ""For the sake of humanity, we need to read Wayne Karlin on war and peace. Studying the holocaust of his immediate forebears and the VietNam / American War of his own experience, he has written a life-saving book. Courageously he faces the necessary questions: What do these terrible events mean? What is the history and truth of what happened, and keeps happening? Where are we now? Who are we? What will become of us?""
