Photographic portrait frontispiece with tissue guard plus 89 full page plates and 24 illustrations in text. 8 fold-out maps in colour. Book Condition: Very Good. Publisher's brown cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt vignette to upper board; black endpapers. Cover cloth a little rubbed to edges and bumped to upper corners but clean and bright. A handsome example of the agricultural classic; subject matter covers crops, Merino sheep and other breeds, cattle and the meat trade, and pests such as rabbits.
