Latin prize inscription to recto front blank page 'C. P. Goodden alumno Harroviensi litteris Latinis et Graecis insigni praemium adiudicaverent' dated 1895. With Cecil Phelips Goodden bookplate to front pastedown. In a full diced calf binding with intricate gilt tooling to spine and extremities, gilt to edges, new endpapers. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, spine lightly rubbed and faded. Cecil Phelips Goodden bookplate to front pastedown. Latin prize inscription to recto front blank page dated 1895. Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
