Sobre este artículo

Glendale: The Arthur H. Clark Company, 1933., 1933. First edition. First edition. Octavo. One of 753 copies. Red Cloth. 340 pp., frontis., teg, illustrated, map of a section of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the sources of the Missouri River, and the meeting place of the white men with the Shoshone Indians, preface, an appreciation, introduction, appendix, bibliography, index. AHC 117 says, "This biography of Sacajawea was controversial because of the contention by the author that the Shoshone woman who accompanied the Lewis and Clark expedition lived for many years after her supposed death. Thus only small editions were issued over the years." Previous owner's bookplate and name neatly written in upper corner on front endpaper, else an exceptionally fine, bright copy in protective slipcase.
