Bound in red (faded) cloth, leather spine label with gilt lettering. Two leaves of modern paper inserted between the first two leaves. A handwritten number on the title page ("6"). A Latin poem about rural priesthood by the preacher and scholar (a supporter of then-modern philosophers like Locke) associated with Oxford University. In this copy, the author's name has been supplied in manuscript on the title page. A blank portion of the middle of the title page has been carefully excised (possibly a previous owner's inscription).
