A near very good copy, the binding firm, with a crease running down the front of the upper board and light spotting to the text block. The contents are clean and bright throughout. No dustwrapper. Inscribed by the author in black ink on the half-title A futuristic novel in which Europe has sunk and a matriarchal, black society are the ruling nation. Written by a Spanish diplomat and pacifist who was nominated for two Nobel prizes. (Bleiler.) Provenance: from the library of Martin Stone.
