Legends of the Angels and Archangels, the Evangelists, The Apostles, The Doctors of the Church, and St. Mary Magdalene, As represented in the Fine Arts. Two volumes. Leather over boards. Decorative gilt borders. Edge are rubbed. Spine have 5 raised bands with red and green leather, decorative gilt. Gilt dentelle. Marbled edges and marbled endpapers. Front boards of both books are attached, but are not as secure as once was. B/W and sepia plates and illustrations. Bookplates on front pastedowns, but otherwise clean thorughout.
