Some small spots of light rubbing at edges. 2/3 of the last page missing, not affecting text, but removing that area of the ad on reverse side. Otherwise, in Very Good+ condition and a solid, attractive copy of a scarce Orange Judd title. Chapters include how to use a horse, in the saddle, bits and bitting, the mount, reins, etc., horse gymnastics, hands and legs, the walk, trot, gallop, vices, tricks, and faults, early education of the horse, French Method of training, when ladies ride, and more.
