Page edges beginning to tan (due to the poor quality of paper used) and the former owner's book-plate of Ralph J C Lumley on the front paste-down and a gift inscription to Father Lumley on the FFEP otherwise a fine copy in like D/W. Prebendary Ralph Lumley (1913-1996) was for more than a quarter of a century vicar of Shrewsbury Abbey and helped the author to realise and develop the religious nature of her books.
