The book was commissioned by his Publisher Hodder and Stoughton as Christmas gifts on behalf of the Directors to Leslie Charteris. This method of presentation by Hodder and Stoughton was also undertaken for other authors which they published for such as Enid Blyton. These came up for auction when her daughter's collection was sold in 2010 All Bound in Matching Three Quarter Leather and hand marbled boards by Sangorski and Sutcliffe. . Excellent provenance will be provided upon purchase. Book is near fine and very bright. Unread. More images can be taken upon request. Ref 16876/16843/16844
