A daughter, Haru Matsukata, married the US
Ambassador to Japan, Edwin Reischauer.

SCARCE pre-1930's Art & Objects Catalogue. Nearly as Fine as the day it was published and bound. Traces of finger flipping of catalogue pages at upper right of pages. Slight uniform age-toning to paper. No foxing or other blemishes. Slight loosening to binding cords but catalogue still retains its integrity. Apart from one light pencil entry identifying the sale as that of Prince Matsukata, there are no other extraneous markings.

A worthy collection to review.
