Sobre este artículo
Dublin: James Duffy and Co. Ltd., 1948. A "New Edition" of the popular novel by Charles Joseph Kickham (1828-1882), prominent Irish nationalist and convicted felon of the land. He wrote frequently for nationalist newspapers; supposedly, some 10,000 mourners attended his funeral in Dublin. Not a common title. This is a small-format edition in Very Good condition. Green cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 252 pages. Text is very bright and fresh, with occasional scattered spotting. This copy would be graded much higher, at least to Near Fine, save a bit of juvenalia: a scribble on the FFEP and another on the rear paste-down. Still, a rather nice copy and a fun read today. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. First Thus.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
