Good. 1880. Eight page territorial newspaper. Newspaper is folded in half and top edge is uncut. Newspaper has a 7" tear along the fold and a 2" near the fold. Overall good. An early issue of the Salt Lake Weekly Herald; most articles in this newspaper are dedicated to national news with a good supply of local intelligence as well. Local news includes Z.C.M.I. superintendent Rowe treats factory hands to a grand ball, a duel between two officers at Fort Douglas, difficult surgeries performed, births and deaths. As of April 2022 one copy found at UC Berkeley. ; 14" x 21"; 8 pp .
