An early issue of the Salt Lake Weekly Herald; most articles in this newspaper are dedicated to national news with a good supply of local intelligence as well. Local news includes Z.C.M.I. superintendent Rowe treats factory hands to a grand ball, a duel between two officers at Fort Douglas, difficult surgeries performed, births and deaths.
