Sobre este artículo
New Haven: A(bel) Morse, 1790. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. 331 pp. errata + leaf of printing and bookbinding list of Abel Morse. Original leather binding with original red label stamped in gilt. A subscriber's copy, the subscriber being David Wallis with his signature dated 1790 to front flyleaf. On blank leaves at the back, extending to the rear pastedown, in manuscript, are long lists of Wallis names and birthdates, beginning with David Wallis born Set. 13, 1758. A section of "Grandchildren" records 24 names with birthdates over a 20 year period from 1807-1828. Title and preface leaf loose, front board cracking at the top, but overall a very sound and interesting copy of this late 18th century American book in its original binding.
