First printing thus (originally published if 1936), near fine cloth hardcover shows a touch of wear to covers and name at top of front endpaper, in very good dust jacket that shows rubbing (particularly along spine), mild soil and edgewear that includes some very shallow open chipping. 437 pages with index and black & white illustrations. Still a pleasing copy of this outstanding biography of the "father of the American Revolution.
