Pictorial heavy laminate boards and spine with tan and gray lettering on the spine and front board; samurai pictures on boards. Red endpapers. 208 pp 8vo. Bound by a strict code of honor and driven by a fierce sense of loyalty, the dlite fighting class of medieval Japan-the samurai- were some of the most feared and respected warriors of all time. But it was not war alone that shaped their lives. In this book, the author, exposes the vibrant and exciting world of the samurai and reveals an all-encompassing warrior culture that was expressed as much through art and poetry as through violence. A clean very presentable copy.
