Pale grey cloth with blue lettering and decoration (no dust jacket, as issued). xi, 340pp. Numerous line drawings, floor plans, illustations. Near fine. Bright and tight first edition of the first volume in a projected 5-volume set that apparently never came to fruition (although Anchor Press did publish his "Kourion: The Search for a Lost Roman City" in 1988). Superbly in-depth examination of the excavation of this ancient Roman site in southwest Cyprus.
