Sobre este artículo

Cleveland, OH: NAL/World Publishing, 1969. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. A late work from the award-winning author of "What Makes Sammy Run?", "The Harder They Fall," and "On The Waterfront." This novel features President Justo Moreno Suarez, fleeing the revolution he helped to make and into the sanctuary of a neutral embassy that is an overcrowded purgatory he must share with men such as El Gordo, the executioner of the previous regime; Goyo, the green-haired poet of the revolution, an egocentric homosexual, and Paco, the alcoholic, ex jai alai player, who has his own brand of amusement and terror. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square. The dustjacket shows some light soiling and yellowing on the top edge but no significant flaws, no tears or chipping, not price-clipped.
