The Translation from the Introduction is amusing: "we designate a food preparation that consists of any edible product imprisoned between two slices or two pieces of bread..." Well, this book DOES contain every imaginable filling one could put between two slices of bread! Text in French. Interior clean, cover has 2 cm. puncture. From the culinary collection of Carl G. Sontheimer, the man who revolutionized American cooking by bringing the Cuisinart to the United States. Bookplate states: This book is a gift from THE SONTHEIMER FOUNDATION Greenwich, Connecticut.
